On March 17th 1962, Alexis Korner and Cyril Davies started the EALING BLUES CLUB. The first UK gig devoted to 'electric blues music'. Musicologists agree that this event was the catalyst that would define British Rock music. The Ealing Blues Club sparked a musical revolution that grew further at Twickenham's Eel Pie Island and Richmond's Crawdaddy Club, 3 venues that were vital in the careers of: The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds / Eric Clapton, The Who, Cream and many more. Elsewhere in 1962 there were rumblings of a cultural shift with The Beatles, Dusty Springfield, The Animals, Marshall Amplification and many others setting the tone for what became the UK's most significant cultural export... Rock & Pop Music. 60 years on from 1962 and 'ROCK'S DIAMOND YEAR' will celebrate the UK's unique contribution to what has become a global music form. The initiative is led by The Ealing Club Community Interest Company' set up to champion West London music heritage while inspiring new music opportunity for the future.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 13th International Workshop on Statistical Atlases and Computational Models of the Heart, STACOM 2022, held in conjunction with the 25th MICCAI conference. The 34 regular workshop papers included in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected after being revised and deal with topics such as: common cardiac segmentation and modelling problems to more advanced generative modelling for ageing hearts, learning cardiac motion using biomechanical networks, physics-informed neural networks for left atrial appendage occlusion, biventricular mechanics for Tetralogy of Fallot, ventricular arrhythmia prediction by using graph convolutional network, and deeper analysis of racial and sex biases from machine learning-based cardiac segmentation. In addition, 14 papers from the CMRxMotion challenge are included in the proceedings which aim to assess the effects of respiratory motion on cardiac MRI (CMR) imaging quality and examine the robustness of segmentation models in face of respiratory motion artefacts. A total of 48 submissions to the workshop was received.

They deal with cardiac imaging and image processing, machine learning applied to cardiac imaging and image analysis, atlas construction, artificial intelligence, statistical modelling of cardiac function across different patient populations, cardiac computational physiology, model customization, atlas based functional analysis, ontological schemata for data and results, integrated functional and structural analyses, as well as the pre-clinical and clinical applicability of these methods. In addition, 15 papers from the M&MS-2 challenge are included in this volume. The Multi-Disease, Multi-View & Multi-Center Right Ventricular Segmentation in Cardiac MRI Challenge (M&Ms-2) is focusing on the development of generalizable deep learning models for the Right Ventricle that can maintain good segmentation accuracy on different centers, pathologies and cardiac MRI views. There was a total of 48 submissions to the workshop.

What is to be done about the damaging impact of economic activity on the environment? In recent years, there has been growing debate over this question. This book, by an economist, urges Christians to support strong governmental and intergovernmental action to improve the workings of existing global economic systems so as to provide adequate environmental protection. As such, it draws on the tradition of mainstream environmental economics and on recent developments in "ecological economics." But it acknowledges that environmental policy raises important ethical and theological issues often briefly or inadequately covered within economic literature: ethically responsible attitudes to uncertainty, inequality within and between generations, the rights of traditional communities, and the obligation to respect nonhuman elements within creation. This book tries to develop sound ethical foundations for environmental policy, while providing concrete perspective on economic realities.
